Maintenance Of The High-pressure Pump And Replacement Of Wear-prone Parts

1) To ensure the normal operation of the pump, the following precautions should be observed:
a. Select clean and high-quality hydraulic oil, filter it once a month and replace it every three months, promptly changing it if it deteriorates;
The pump must not be started or operated without cooling water to prevent the ceramic plunger from cracking due to sudden temperature changes and the thermal damage to the rubber sealing ring. The water also serves to flush the plunger, thereby extending the service life of both the plunger and the sealing ring;

e. Seals in the hydraulic system and mud pipelines should be promptly replaced upon wear;

When the mud pressure fluctuation value on the air tank's pressure gauge exceeds 0.2 MPa, the pump must be stopped, the lower valve opened to drain the mud, and air replenished. If necessary, remove the pressure gauge from the air tank and flush the valve box from the upper port;
h. Regularly inspect and flush the valve box (approximately weekly);
After six months of use, the bladder-type accumulator should be filled with nitrogen or argon gas, with a filling pressure of 3.0 MPa being optimal.
